Shonda Rhimes has just announced that she is renewing The Catch for a third season. The Catch is also planned to stay on the fall schedule per Ms. Rhimes, but not on Thursdays. Indeed, "TGIT" is going to expand to Tuesdays next season, but it will only be called that once Marvel's The Inhumans finishes and Still Star-Crossed takes over the 10pm time slot. ABC has not yet commented on the matter. Here are the ratings thus far for Season 2 of The Catch:

ABC has decided to pick up Blackish's spin-off for an 8-episode first season. The season will focus on oldest child Zoey's adventures in college, as she focuses on the redemption of herself and others. The show will fittingly be titled Blackish:Redemption.

Quantico started out promising in its first season in the tough Sunday at 10 time slot, but quickly lost more than half of that audience. To try to salvage it, it was moved behind The Bachelor, then retooled as a procedural, yet neither retools have caused it to rise in the ratings. Now one of the Big 4's lowest-rated shows, Quantico has one last chance as a family comedy.

Quantico will take a time jump of approximately 15 years, and will focus on Alex (People's Choice Award Winner Priyanka Chopra) and husband Ryan (Jake McLaughlin), deal with their kids. In fact, they have three kids: a moody 14-year-old, a normal, often-forgotten 11-year-old, and a quirky 8-year-old. Alex's father will also appear sporadically. Parenting has made Alex into an overbearing mother who comically cares about her children.

If successful enough for a renewal, this retooled version of Quantico is being eyed for the post-Modern Family slot, assuming the latter comes back. Here are the ratings for Quantico this season:

They've managed to keep it a secret for 10 years, but now the shocking truth is out. CBS's The Big Bang Theory is indeed fake, a fictional show with characters played by actors. That's right, everyone, I'm hope you're sitting, because I'm here to tell you that Sheldon Cooper isn't real. Tens of millions of viewers have been questioning reality. If Sheldon isn't real, what is?

Thankfully further investigation has been completed, and we can confirm that Phil Dunphy and his "modern family" is real, as is Cookie Lyon. Phew!
I had a lot of ideas for April Fools articles, and I hope you enjoyed them. I decided to go with one per network, and as such there are a few that got away. Here are those headlines:

-The Catch Renewed by Shonda Rhimes
-Blackish: Redemption Ordered to Series by ABC
-Dick Wolf Leaves NBC, Takes His Chicagos With Him (the "Chicagos" turn out to be CDs by the classic rock band, and "Leaves NBC" refers to simply exiting 30 Rock)
-CBS to Start Airing 48 Hours for 48 Hours
-Make an article saying that a show has been canceled before its premiere, but with a show that never even existed in the first place
-The Middle of Nashville to Leave The TV Ratings Guide

I was also considering just making a post with a captivating title but no content.

The CW has just announced that they will be rebranding as The WC effective this fall. President Mark Pedowitz remarked that "Rebranding as The WC will be a positive move for our ratings. The CW just wasn't a captivating name, and that's why our shows survive because of Netflix. Our marketing team has done a ton of research that supports this. But The WC, on the other hand, just has a certain ring to it that we think viewers will love".

The bigger surprise though is with the rebranding, The WC is also going to redo their schedule, citing that the research team has figured out a schedule to optimize viewing habits. They are currently deciding between two schedules, and Pedowitz says that they go back and forth on which schedule they like best every day.
